Our history

The commission we have been given is to go into all the world and make disciples of all nations. The way to accomplish this is to plant New Testament churches in every village, town, city and nation.

The promise we've been given is that the Lord Jesus Christ would be with us all the time, everywhere we go and that we would go in the power of the Holy Spirit.

With this in mind, North West Church International was planted in Northwich, Cheshire (UK) in May 2003 by Peter and Ilana Markgraaff. The first meeting took place in a College Chapel, with a handful of believers hungry to see things grow and take shape. As time passed, we changed venues and saw the Lord add to His church slowly but surely.

In 2006 the church was handed over to Mike and Glynis Moore. The name of the church was changed in 2008 to The Connection Church. This was to reflect the call of God in our community and to the nations of the world: to know Jesus Christ and to make Him known. Through the years we saw a few more venue changes but God continued to add to His church.

In 2018 Mike and Glynis felt that their season of leading The Connection Church was drawing to an end and in February 2019 the leadership of the church was handed over to Andrew and Jacky Crawford.

The church now meets at The Venue in Rudheath, and continues to grow...
